

Susan Lambert: Producer/Writer/Director
Susan Lambert is one of Australia's leading filmmakers, whose work has been broadcast and distributed in Australia and internationally.
Lambert's films include both documentary and drama. In 1995, her AFI feature film Talk was released theatrically in Australia and the US and was invited to screen in film festivals around the world.
In 1991, Lambert was a producer on the major international television series, The Trouble With Medicine, a co-production between PBS in the US, the BBC, the ABC and TVE (Spain). In 1994, she produced the award-winning documentary A Bird in the Hand for PBS and the ABC, and in 1995 she co-produced and directed No Sex, No Violence, No News, a documentary about the advent of television in China.
In 2000, Lambert's daring and controversial Tokyo Bound: Bondage Mistresses of Japan was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK and SBS (Australia).
Lambert has also produced and directed a range of critically acclaimed observational television series Including: Under the Hammer, billed as the "must see TV event of the year" by the Sydney Morning Herald; Risky Business (SBS), described as "gripping drama" by The Age; and the highly popular series DIY Law and Love and Money for ABC Television.
In 2004, Lambert directed Deadly Enemies, a documentary about the history of germ warfare, for ABC Television and Channel 5 (UK), and produced the Australian version of the feature documentary Ten Days to D Day for the ABC.
In 2006, her documentary The Good, The Bad and The Ugg Boot was broadcast on ABC Television to one of the biggest documentary audiences in the history of Australian television.
Lambert co-produced the The Cars That Ate China, a co-production between the ABC Television, NDR (Germany) and Jumping Dog Productions. She has recently directed episodes in two major series for ABC1 The making of Modern Australia and the upcoming observational series On Trial and produced the history docu-drama Recipe For Murder scheduled for release on ABC1 in 2011.
Lambert's films have been screened in major international film festivals including London, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, American, New York, Cannes, Oberhausen, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Hof, Nyon, Edinburgh, Tynside, Goteborg, Creteil, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Lambert is the sole director of Jumping Dog Productions and since 2001 has produced – Tokyo Bound: Bondage Mistresses of Japan (C 4 UK, SBSi), Deadly Enemies (C5 UK, ABC TV), The Good The Bad and The Ugg Boot (ABC TV, TVF International), The Cars That Ate China (NDR Germ, CICC China, Electric Sky UK, ABC TV), Love and Money (ABC TV) and Recipe For Murder (ABC1).
